Sheree started reviewing books in 2017 with her own blog project, Keeping Up With The Penguins. She compiled a list of 109 classic books and backlist titles that she felt she “should” have read already, an approach that resonated with other would-be booklovers. The blog has since expanded in scope to incorporate more recent releases and forthcoming titles. She publishes new reviews each week, as well as regular bookish features and discussions.
Keeping Up With The Penguins has seen steady growth in reach and audience since its inception. Sheree has also found a significant following for the blog on Instagram and Pinterest. In 2019, Sheree began reviewing new and forthcoming book releases for Primer, a site that reflects everything that women are and everything they aspire to be. They feature stories on the issues that matter from some of Australia’s most engaging and exciting writers.
